In port you’re obviously free to come and go as you please. If you prefer to sleep late that’s no problem but quiet time usually ends about 8am so you may need to be quite determined. Quiet starts around 11pm – not monastic silence, just extra consideration for our neighbours (if we have any) and fellow crew.
Meal times are a matter of mutual agreement but we’d normally expect to eat together once a day. Ellen and Andy are omnivores so unfortunately it isn’t practical to take vegetarian or vegan crew. If you have any minor special dietary requirements (e.g. lactose free, decaffeinated drinks) you’ll need to do your own provisioning to accommodate this.
Please also bear in mind that Alibi is effectively Ellen and Andy’s home…. not a floating hotel!
“I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving: To reach the port of heaven, we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it – but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.” Oliver Wendel Holmes
